  • White shaker syndrome causes complete body shaking in small breeds of dogs and is associated with high stress.
  • Epilepsy and Seizures due to unknown causes
  • Patellar Luxation: This is a common condition in the knee joints of teacup dogs. The kneecap can become detached from the thigh (femur).
  • Portosystemic Shunt: A defect in which blood bypasses the liver due to an abnormality between the portal veins and other veins.
  • Progressive retinal Atrophy (PRA: Vision loss or blindness can be caused by retina degeneration.
  • Legg Calve-Perthes Disease: This condition causes the hip joint to disintegrate gradually.

A Poodle Maltese Mix’s coat is usually short to medium length. The texture can range from straight to curly. Although their coats are hypoallergenic, they can be allergic to some things. You should cover the fur around your eyes with your hands before you attempt to cut it. You can find special scissors online or in pet shops for this job. They have a curved blade that prevents the tip from accidentally getting into the eyes of the dog.




This mixed breed is energetic but not too active. With a few interactive toys, you can keep your dog entertained indoors. It’s also important to spend time outdoors with your dog, just like any other dog. Minimum 40 minutes.

Daily exercise is enough. You can spend it walking around the neighborhood or with your dog friends at the park. Mix it up, and your Moodle will never get bored.
