The Pup-Peroni Original treats are similar to the Canine Carry Outs. It is a good source of protein for dogs, as it contains beef.

As you may have guessed, it doesn’t end there. While we love the brand name, we also have concerns. Pup-Peroni has sugar, salt, meat-by-products and the notorious BHA.

It is a scam business because the meat by-products used in it are not disclosed to the consumer. Sugar and salt are harmful and unhealthy for dogs.

Milkbone treats are a long-standing tradition. You might even be tempted to purchase some because you are familiar with the milk bone treats.

These dog treats contain wheat as the main ingredient, which has very low nutritional value. Worse, it contains artificial dyes that have been linked with health problems in dogs, including cancer.

This is not enough to make you avoid Purina, but there are more. Also, Purina Beneful uses Brewer’s Rice as its first ingredient. Brewer’s rice has been processed so that it loses its nutrients. The end product is less nutritious that normal brown and white rice.

Ground yellow corn is another ingredient in this recipe. It has the same problem as wheat. It has low nutritional value. These ingredients may cause problems in the digestive system of dogs.
